Saint Valentine’s Day Surprise ¡
A group of teachers and students from the IES Hermanos Machado(Sevilla- Spain), made a “Flashmob” last 14th February
As every year on Saint Valentine’s Day, our school was full of hearts, flowers, sweets and lovers’ messages sent by and for the girls and boys.
But this year it was different!. A group of teachers and students from our school surprised all of us with a funny “Flashmob” during breaktime. The dancers, who have been rehearsing hard for more than two weeks, were wearing red T-shirts.
The sound of the song “Love is in the Air” by John Paul Young, poured into the schoolyard. A dozen of teachers and more than forty students performed a dance with love as the main inspiration. The show finished forming a huge heart in the middle of the football track.
As it has been a great success, the students are thinking seriously in making a new performance to create a joyful and friendly atmosphere during the breaktime.
